San Miguel Beermen and Indonesia Warriors dispute

San Miguel Beermen came out
firing in the opening period of their semi-final
match against the Malaysia Dragons and dominated the
game in a lopsided win, 90-56.
The Beermen broke the game wide
open in the first quarter with a 21-3 run and the
lead ballooned to 35 points.
Nick Fazekas scored 21 points and
grab 9 boards while veteran guard, Leo Avenido
provided the much-needed support scoring 18 points.
Avenido, ignited the onslaught
with a series of 3-pointers in the second and third
quarters.
Junmar Fajardo and Christian
Luanzon also had quality contribution scoring 11 and
7 points respectively for the Beermen.
Tiras Wade scored 25 points to
lead the Dragons but shooting guard, Patrick Cabahug,
who had 17 points in their win in Game 1, was
scoreless in this game.
The win booked a finals seat for
the Beermen and arrange a championship duel with
Indonesia Warriors, who ousted Philippine Patriots
in their own semis match via 2-game sweep
