Miami outlast OKC, 104-98 and grab a commanding 3-1
lead in the NBA Finals best-of-seven series

Russell Westbrook scored 43 points for the
Thunder but its not enough to pull off a win in Game
4 of the 2012 NBA Finals, as the Heat took a
commanding 3-1 series lead and can wrap it up at
home on Thursday (Friday-Manila Time).
Westbrook had a big shooting night, 60% from the
field and scored more points in the NBA Finals game
over the last 25 years.
He made 20-32 shots, mostly jumpers and Kevin Durant
scored 28 and was perfect from the free throw line
(9-9). They combined for 71 of the Thunder 98
points.
Westbrook and Durant were the only Thunder players
who scored points in the 16 minutes of the game.
Mario Chalmers scored 25 points for the Heat, on
9-15 shooting from the field. Reserve guard, Norris
Cole played only 8 minutes but scored 8 points and
the Heat was ahead all the time he was on the floor.
James Jones and Udonis Haslem both has the same
impact, though it will not show in the stat sheets.
Miami Heat has won 3 straight and now have a 3-1
series lead. No NBA team has ever come back from a
1-3 deficit in the Finals.
Lebron James' chase for the elusive ring is now a
game away from accomplishing his goal.
